WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2018 by experienced coaches Alex Allen and Dan Shepherd, Court18 Tennis Coaching was born from a shared vision to deliver high-quality, inclusive coaching for all ages and abilities. Based at Gerrards Cross Lawn Tennis Club - one of the South East’s most prestigious venues - the programme combines top-class expertise with a welcoming community spirit, inspiring players to develop their skills, confidence and love of the game.

At Court18, we’re passionate about making tennis fun, inclusive and accessible for everyone. Through our schools outreach programme, we introduce hundreds of children across Buckinghamshire to the game each year - giving many their first rally and creating lasting connections between local families and Gerrards Cross LTC.

My boy loves the coaching at Court18. The coaches are highly professional and know how to work with children. They have classes for a range of skills including Performance level in which they prepare the children to play competitively. 1 to 1 coaching is also highly rewarding. My boy went from a beginner to playing in Grade 3 tournaments. All activities happen at the GX Lawn Tennis Club which is beautiful with grass and artificial clay courts and a lovely cafe.

Our three kids are lucky enough to be benefitting from training with the Court18 coaching team and we have been with them for 7 years now! They each train twice a week - a combination of performance squads and private lessons and all the coaches are brilliant at knowing how to get the best out of each kid, by getting to know their individual traits, and making it fun whilst working them to hard - to the right level.

They encourage match play and tournaments and even go and support them at some of the tournaments when they are starting out on that journey. They help with their game development both tactically, technically and mentally and even have back up plans inside when it’s too wet outside such as fun quizzes about the top players’ games. We are very fortunate to have such a top rated club and team of dedicated pros offering a great coaching program, as well as excellent tennis camps over the holidays, so local to us!
